Gina Lollobrigida, 1950s

Love, hope, compassion...
This is what people say monster souls are made of.
But the absolute nature of “soul” is unknown.
After all, humans have proven their souls don’t need these things to exist
Things I’m sick of
• How people think “Asian” means “East Asian”
• The serious lack of diverse Asian representation in mainstream media
• In addition to that, casting someone of a certain Asian ethnicity in a role meant for another (as if all Asians are the same)
• “Are you sure you’re Asian? But you speak English so well!”
• “Aren’t all Asians supposed to be pale/petite/etc?”
It was amazing and beautiful and I’m so glad I am alive at a time where a film like this is able to exist. And that its just that. A film.
It’s not that ‘gay film’ by an independent film company that we’re all familiar watching on our laptops late at night hoping no one sees us.
It’s just a film, with a gay character, that so many of my friends are going to see regardless of sexual orientation as a coming of age film.
And that makes me so fucking happy
Also there was this group of 12-14 year olds behind me crying too and I just wanted so badly to hug them
does john mulaney know that he is literally one of the only stand-up comedians to ever transcend traditional media and become a meme and social media icon or does he just live in his 1950s schoolboy bliss
A closeted boy runs the risk of being outed by his own heart after it pops out of his chest to chase down the boy of his dreams.

It’s here! After a year and a half of hard work, we are both so excited to finally share our film with you. Thank you all for your support and encouragement - this film means the world to us, and your kindness and enthusiasm has made this journey all the more meaningful. It is our great pleasure to share with you this labor of love, and we hope with all our hearts that you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it.

Christine: No, Halloween is stupid, dressing up and pretending to be someone you’re not.
Brooke:
Brooke: You’re an actress.
watching an actress in full makeup pretend to wash her face and then pat dry her still fully contoured cheeks for an acne wash commercial
when i was 13 i had no idea what make up looked like on. media literacy is important
I especially like the makeup remover ads where she takes off her lipstick, to reveal lighter lipstick underneath.
or the commercials for razors with women shaving their already baby smooth, waxed legs
This is such a surreal, dystopian thing about our culture. We literally treat the natural female body like its obscene. No wonder girls grow up with so much self loathing when they feel as if their own skin is incorrect.
